Geomancy practice
I will give lessons in practice geomancy which is the first level in geomancy, and I think every master in this art has its own style, and in this part we treat general rules of geomancy, the areas it touches, and its applications.
First lesson:
The basis of
geomancy is the point.
There is a
connection between the point and the four elements
of nature, which
are fire, air, land and water. The fire is
lighter than air
is lighter than water which is lighter than the
earth.
We can make this
comparison with a classification of the
four elements as
shown in the following diagram:
-Fire
-Air
-Water
-Land
This representation
into four floors of the four elements of
nature will be
adopted in geomancy.
========================================
Note: We call the first stage (the fire)
the head, the second
floor (air) chest,
third floor (the water) the belly, the fourth
floor (ground)
foot.
===================================
Always that which
is light is carried by what is
heavy and this is
what is seen in the previous diagram.
The four elements
interact with each other, so one can find the
fire in the air or
water or land and water can be found in the
air or land,
etc............
Remember this
interaction is the basis of the sixteen figures of
geomancy. How so?
Well, remember
that geomancy is based on point and if we
give the
interaction and the previous classification of the
four elements of
nature and considering that each of the
four elements is
represented by a point, then the previous
classification can be outlined as follows:
or
Fire------------------------------> .
Air------------------------------->.
Water------------------------------>.
Land-------------------------------->.
The interaction of
four elements will be translated into
geomancy by
coupling these elements, and that means the
vicinity of a
point representing an element from another point of another element,
and before describing this coupling, is note well that, two
neighboring points are represented by a bar, andnow here is a
illustration.
-The fire is in the fire :
-The fire is in the air :
- The fire is in the water :
- The fire is in the land :
- The fire is in the fire and water :
And so on, and
making all possible combinations we obtain
sixteen geomantic figures.
